Extraordinary stained glass from Williams & Byrne
What do you want us to design and make in glass for you? What effect do you want us to achieve?
Perhaps you want us to to brighten a hallway, to give colour to an entrance, to introduce calmness into a bedroom, to change a view, to bring a smile to guests’ faces, to cause friends to stop and wonder, to remind people of someone special, to commemorate a time or an event.
We can do all these things and more.
Just below, you’ll see examples of the different kinds of effects that we can work with glass.
Our glass painting techniques are amazing. (Glass painters – you can read about them here: The Techniques & Secrets of Beautiful Glass Painting by David Williams and Stephen Byrne.)
Glass for a door, a window, a room-divider, or for the wall. Glass for inside or out.
Using tailor-made sheets of exquisite antique glass, decorated and fired in the kiln with glass paint, silver-stain and enamels, perhaps acid-etched or sand-blasted and fire-polished, then assembled within hand-milled lead which we can carve and gild in gold or silver leaf — using these techniques and others, we know we can make the lovely decorative object that you want.

Everything we make for you will evolve from a compelling, original and beautiful idea. Here are some of our recent ideas that we have developed with our clients and brought to life in glass.
Simply consider the wide range of objects that we can make for you, our vast varieties of style, and the fineness of our painting.
